Come Join Us In Remembering What The World Has Forgotten.....  The Seventh Day Sabbath!

 Ten Virgins

 A chaste “Innocent” and honorable person; a person devoted to Right Living;

a person who is inexperienced in a usually specified sphere of activity.

In St. Matthew 25:1-13 we read, Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. *And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. *They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: *But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. *While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. *And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. *Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. *And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. *But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. *And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. *Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. *But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. *Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The first thing that one needs to know is that ALL ten of these individuals that Jesus is talking about are VIRGINS. All ten of them had OIL in their LAMPS; and they ALL were producing LIGHT; and that they ALL slumbered and slept. In some way you could say that they were complacent.

If you think about it, much of the church world today is in the same condition.

Have you ever contemplated what it was that caused their Lamps to produce Light and why in five of them it ran out?  The Written Word of the Lord, the Bible says: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path, Psalms 119:105.

The trouble is, most people aren’t reading their Bible today.  All, too few have actually read the entire Bible from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21.

Psalms 119:130 says, The entrance of - or “Depositing of” thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Let’s put it like this: If a person does not deposit money into a bank account, they cannot drawn any money out.  Therefore, the more that is deposited, the longer it will last.

One Scripture says, They have a form of godliness but have denied the power thereof, 2nd Timothy 3:5.

The Power of God’s Word, like in any government, is its Laws “Commandments, Judgments, Laws, Precepts and Statutes” and the ability to enforce them.

King Solomon in Proverbs 6:23 wrote, For the Commandment is a Lamp, and the Law is the Light.

Without the Commandments of God “YHWH” there is nothing in which the Laws can be contained and without observance of the Laws of God - Light or Righteousness cannot be produced; and without Righteousness or Right Living, according to the Written Word of God, no one can please Him.

In Psalms 19:8 King David wrote, The Commandment of the Lord is Pure, enlightening the eyes.

If a thing is Pure, it cannot get any better therefore, let’s keep or observe and do the Pure Word of God.

We read in Psalms 19:7 where King David wrote, The Law of the Lord is Perfect, converting the Soul.

Can anything be better than Perfect?  If anything is Perfect, it isn’t broken and if it isn’t broken, it doesn’t need fixing.

The Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:12 wrote, Work out your own Salvation with fear, and trembling.

What the Apostle Paul is saying in this Scripture is, God, by the Power of the Holy Ghost in, through and by the Precious Shed Blood of Jesus, saves mankind from within their Soul and Spirit and that mankind is then to manifest, in the flesh, that which has placed on the inside.

An example of this is: If someone put $1,000.00 in your pocket and you didn’t bring it out of your pocket and use it, the money in and of itself wouldn’t do you much good.

In 1st Peter 1:13 the Apostle Peter wrote, Wherefore gird up the Loins of your Mind, be sober “Awake and Aware.”

The loins of a person is where the most Power and Strength is for doing anything that requires “Pulling or Pushing” therefore, the Lord wants the Saints to be Strengthened in the Spirit of their Mind “Loins of their Mind” so that they will be able to work the Works of Jesus.

We read in St. Luke 12:35, Let your Loins be girded about, and your Lights Burning.

If we will deposit the Written Word of the Lord, the Bible, into the Spirit of our Mind, we will be Spiritually Strengthened and the Light of Jesus will Shine in and through us.  Praise His Holy and Righteousness!

The Apostle Paul in Romans 13:12 wrote, The night is far spent, the day is at hand, let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the Armour of Light.

If you or anyone you have been with has gone fishing using a casting rod, you know when the hook or bait is cast out into the water to catch a fish, it (The hook or bait) leaves the end of the fishing pole with great speed and force.

What we, as Believers in Jesus, need to do in this case is to cut the line holding our sins and let them fall completely on the Lord and then, He will Save us from our sins.  Praise His Holy Name!

As a general rule when a person is dirty and/or sweaty they do not just take off their dirty clothing and put on clean clothing, without first taking a bath or a shower or at least washing up.

In like manner, mankind is to cast off from them the Lust of the flesh, the Lust of the eyes and the Pride of Life “Sin” and Put On the Lord Jesus Christ, and Put On that New Man which is Renewed in Jesus and Put On the Mind of Christ.

In Ephesians 5:13-14 the Apostle Paul wrote, All things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
*Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

The Law or the Commandments causes us to be able to see.  It’s like looking into a mirror and seeing that which is out of place “Our sins” and gives us the opportunity to fix it, to make it right “Get in line.”

In St. Matthew 22:11-14 we read, And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a Wedding Garment: *And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a Wedding Garment? And he was speechless. *Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. *For many are called, but few are chosen.

There is absolutely NO excuse for anyone (that truly wants to Live for Jesus) to fail because He has given us His Holy Written Word, to show us how we are to be Saved and how we are to Live. And He has given us Plenty of Time to get Properly Dressed for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

We read in St. Luke 13:24-30, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. *When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: *Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. *But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. *There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. *And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. *And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

There is going to be a lot of so called Christians that have reportedly done a lot of good things, in the name of the Lord, that will not make it into the Kingdom of God because they refused to know and observe the Laws/Commandments of God.  One Scripture says, Obedience is better than Sacrifice, 1st Samuel 15:22.”

In St. Matthew 7:20-23 we read, Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. *Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. *Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
*And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The Will of the Father is that ALL should depart from iniquity “Sin” and do that which is Right and Pleasing in His Sight.  Let us therefore, as many that truly desire to enter into His Heavenly Kingdom, endeavor to diligently Know and Do His Commandments, that our Light will so Shine for others to see and be Saved.

Praise the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the World.
