Come Join Us In Remembering What The World Has Forgotten..... The Seventh Day Sabbath!
To do justly and/or right and/or well; to obey the Written Word of God “YHWH” is Righteousness;
to conform to the Standards of God from the heart; to be Righteous is to be FREE from guilt.
In Acts 10:34-35 (in part) we read, Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: *But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
In that God is not a respecter of persons, He is willing to do for others that which He has done for someone else.
One thing to think about when it comes to him that "Feareth the Lord" is that in general the term “Feareth” is referring to "Hating Evil.” Therefore, when a person hates evil they are more likely to do those things that are Written in the Word of the Lord, the Bible and that is Living Righteously.
King Solo9mon in Proverbs 8:13 in part wrote, The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:
The Apostle James in James 3:18 wrote, The Fruit of Righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
Righteousness is something that is actively done; it is not something that automatically happens. Righteous Living takes effort (on the part of the Believer) in performing the doing of God’s Commandments.
In 2nd Corinthians 6:3-7 the Apostle Paul wrote, Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: *But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, *In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings; *By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, **By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left.
A person must make an active effort to do that which is Right and Well-Pleasing unto the Lord, if they expect to not offend any - in word or deed.
Putting on any kind of armour takes a conscience “A mental desire and/or willingness to do so” and a physical effort to accomplish. It cannot happen by accident or by chance.
As a general rule, before a person puts on new or clean clothing, they will first have to take off their old garments and they usually would want to make an effort to first clean up then, put on their new or clean clothes.
In like manner, before one can put on and effectively use any of the Armour of the Lord, they must put off the sins caused by the Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eyes and the Pride of Life. Then and only then can they begin to be Holy, Pure and Righteous.
The Apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:24 wrote, And that ye put on the New Man, which after God is Created in Righteousness and True holiness.
Again, before a person can put on the New Man they must first put off the old man with his deeds.
We read in St. Matthew 6:31-33, Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? *(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. **But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
As Saints of the Most High God we are to, first and foremost, seek to know and serve the Lord.
One of the ways that we come to know about the Lord is by reading and studying His Holy Written Word, the Bible and implementing the things Written therein into our daily lives.
The Saints are also to continually Communicate “Pray” unto the Lord and endeavor to stay close to Him so that they will not be tempted to go astray. They are also to seek the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, in order to have the power to live a Righteous Life.
In Romans 10:4 the Apostle Paul wrote, Christ is the End of the Law for Righteousness to everyone that believeth.
There is absolutely nothing, “That is a Zero - without the line" (Outside of Jesus) that will make a person Righteous.
A person is not made Righteous by observing any Law, belonging to a certain church group, observing some holy day or holiday or anything else. Being Righteous only comes in, through and by Jesus, accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour and Serving Him.
The Apostle Paul in Galatians 3:6 wrote, Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for Righteousness.
Believing in and of itself is not enough to produce Righteousness, it takes actively doing that which is Right. We must perform the doing of God’s Word.
In 2nd Timothy 3:16 the Apostle Paul wrote, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Every Righteous Word Written from Genesis 1:1 through Revelation 22:21 is important in order for the Saints to Live a Righteous Life. Therefore, it behooves us to read the ENTIRE Bible and Observe EVERY THING that pertains to Righteous Living.
We read in Romans 6:13-18 where the Apostle Paul wrote, Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. *For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. *What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. **Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
We, as Children of the Most High God, must pray continually that the Lord will send to our aid the Holy Ghost, in order to help us to overcome all the power of the enemy (satan), and to help us not to sin against His Holy Written Word, that we might be able to live a Righteous Life before Him.
In St. Matthew 5:6 we read , Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after Righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Living a Righteous Life, according to the Written Word of God, the Bible, MUST be the PASSION of every Believer/Saint - if they/we are to be Blessed with the ability to do His Perfect Will. It may seem at times an impossible task, but in, though and by the Power of His Holy Spirit, we are more than able to endure to the End and be Saved forevermore. Praise His Holy and Righteous Name!
