" Praise the Lord for that which He is about to do! "
The Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 17:7-8 wrote, "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. *For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth outher roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."
If a Fruit Farmer wants to have abundant, beautiful, delicious fruit then, he will plant his trees near plenty of fresh water ~
When the Saints are willing to become subject to the Word of the Lord then, He “the Lord” submits His favor unto them. In other words, when the Saints yield their Spirit, Soul and Body, their Willunto the Lord then, He will cause them to flourish even in a time of perceive lack.
We read in Revelation 2:1-5, "Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in is right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; *I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: *And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. *Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. *Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."
All the good that mankind can do cannot sustain them once they have left off from doing good. Therefore, it is good when a Back-slider realizes that they have erred and then, turns from the wrong they have been doing and yields their-selves to the perfect will of the Lord.
Have you ever been working on a project and have something to go wrong then, try to correct it without going back and starting over?
I have, and sometimes the only way to completely correct the error, one needs to start all over from the beginning in order to obtain a satisfactory results.
In Romans 6:12-16 the Apostle Paul wrote, "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. *Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. *For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. *What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. *Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"
In life it is sometimes difficult to get yourself out of trouble once you have gone down the wrong road. In this situation, one needs the assistance of someone or something greater than them-self in order to remedy the situation.
This is also how it is in serving God. Once a person starts going the wrong way “down a slippery slope”, and walks away from obedience to the Written Word of God, Jesus is the only one that can save the sinner from their sin.
We read in Genesis 1:11, "And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so."
That which bringeth forth seed is useful for the Master’s table. Jesus is the Seed of God and it is in, through and by Him that mankind has the ability and privilege to have life. Praise His Holy and Righteous Name!
The Apostle James in James 3:11-12 wrote, "Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? *Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh."
Mankind can’t go half the way, they must go all the way if, they want to be Saved ~
If a person says that they are saved and still lives the same life they use to live, according to what the Apostle James wrote, they are serving the devil. Even in the natural, if a person tries to walk startling a fence they, will most likely suffer injury. Therefore, it is better for a person to make up their mind, on what side of the fence they want to be on and walk on that side.
The Prophet Hosea in Hosea 8:7 wrote, "For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up."
If a farmer goes out to sow seed on a windy day, the likely hood of him producing a good crop is slim at best. However, the seed that he has sown may spring up in another person’s field. In like manner when the Saints do those things the Written Word of God says are not to be done, they will then bring forth fruit unto satan which, results in death.
In St. Mark 4:3-8 the Apostle Mark wrote, "Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: *And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. *And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: *But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. *And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. *And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred."
In order for a person to receive the best possible results of that which a person does, thy first need to do the appropriate preparatory work in order to remove the possibility of restrictions that cause loss. As a general rule, when the appropriate preparatory work is done, the yield is bountiful and good.
In Hebrews 12:11 we read, "Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby."
Some would say, “no pain, no gain.” Everything in this life and in the World to come has a cost that must be paid. Thank God for Jesus that paid the cost for you and I to be Born Again so that we might have the Right to enter into the Gates of the Kingdom of God and partake of the Tree of Life. Praise His Holy Name!
We read in 2nd Chronicles 30:8, "Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you."
Through-out the Written Word of God mankind is encouraged to Yield or Cast their burdens on the Lord and He will give them Rest from ALL that is bad or wrong and give them Joy Unspeakable.
Praise His Holy and Righteous Name!
