" Praise the Lord for that which He is about to do! "
We read in St. Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, *To preach the acceptable year
of the Lord."
There is a Time that is acceptable unto the Lord for the Spirit of the Lord to move upon the heart of mankind. Without the invitation of the Holy Spirit of the Lord, mankind cannot be Saved. Therefore, it is very important to accept the Moving of the Spirit of the Lord when it comes.
There is a Scripture that states that at a certain season an Angel of the Lord came down and troubled the water in a pool called Bethesda and the first person that stepped into the water after the angle of the Lord troubled the water, they were healed of whatever malady they had. To these folk that was an acceptable year or time to be healed.
In Ezekiel 22:1-4, the Prophet Ezekiel wrote, "Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, *Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt show her all her abominations. *Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may
come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself. *Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a
mocking to all countries."
The Lord still directs His Ministers to speak to all humanity to warn them of the fate that awaits them if they continue in a state of sin. They are also told to
advise them of the Great Joy that awaits them if and when they accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Some Ministers and lay people alike will say that they do not worship idols. But in fact, they do when they establish anything ahead of the Written Word of God -
“YHWH” ~
“How is this possible,” you might ask? It’s quite simple, if you place your employment, how and where you live as a condition of how and when you reverence or serve the Lord; in essence, you have set these things as an idol before you as a priority instead of being obedient to the Written Word of God “YHWH.”
The Written Word of God “YHWH” says that all of mankind are to Remember the Sabbath Day “the 7th day of the week” to keep it Holy before the Lord. But all too
many people today are doing whatever pleases them instead of Obeying the Word of the Lord. Therefore, they have in essence; set an idol before them or in the
stead of the Lord.
There are those that will tell you that it is OK to eat whatever you want because the death of Jesus has made Unclean or Abominable things clean. This too is as an idol that mankind sets before them instead of obeying the Written Word of God “YHWH” because their heart has lusted for these things that God said that they were not to eat.
Think about this for a moment. The very first sin that mankind ever committed was to eat or partake of something that God “YHWH” said that they were not to
eat. The devil, through false ministers, is still conveying the same lie today.
Another thought that we should mention here is that many people in the world today say that a person should not be put to death for killing another person.
However, the Written Word of God “YHWH” says that the Blood of a person that is Murdered cries out unto the Lord for the Blood or death of the shedder of Blood to be slain. In this practice, mankind has set their own blood or life, ahead of or of more importance than the Word of the Lord.
King David in Psalms 78:32-33 wrote, "For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works. *Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and
their years in trouble."
Are the years of your life important to you? Is the life that you will have at the end of this present life important to you? If so, it is high time that you take a hold the Written Word of God “YHWH,” the Bible and begin to read it like never before. So, that you will know without a doubt what the Lord requires of you as
one of His Chosen Ones. Otherwise, the life that you are living today, right now has absolutely no real value other than the material things you possess.
In Proverbs 10:27, King Solomon wrote, "The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened."
In another Scripture Solomon also said, “the fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Proverbs 8:13 - Evil is the disobedience of the Written Word of God “YHWH.” In
contrast, in the keeping of or observance of God’s Holy Word there is Great Reward. Psalms 19:11
The Apostle Paul in Galatians 4:10-11 wrote, "Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. *I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain."
All too often the days that mankind has chosen to observe are an Abomination unto the Lord. Some people proclaim that Jesus was born of December 25th and
supposedly celebrate that day in His Honor. To this I pose the following question, “How can God “YHWH” and His Holy Son Jesus be Honored in that which stems from a lie?
One Scripture in the Book of First John states that no lie is of the Truth. 1st John 2:21 - Should we therefore continue in a falsehood?
The Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 51:45-46 wrote, "My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD. *And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler."
There is coming a Time when every individual will be required to make a decision on whom they will serve; whether it God “YHWH” and His Written Word of Truth or himself “his own wishes” and the master of lies, the devil ~
There are a lot of people that are afraid of the pending doom that is foretold to come in the Last Days, “the Great Tribulation.” But I would like to share a
little Good News with you: if you are a Child of God “a Saint” that has been washed in the Precious Blood of Jesus and have been endeavoring to observe the Written Word of God “YHWH,” the Bible; you don’t have anything to worry about because you will have the Seal of God upon your hand “that which you do and speak” and upon your forehead “that which you think and believe” therefore, you will not receive the Mark of the Beast.
Praise the Name of the Lord!
In Isaiah 61:1-3, the Prophet Isaiah wrote, "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he
hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; *To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; *To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the
spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."
Aren’t you glad that today is still an acceptable year of the Lord? We still have the opportunity to accept the Lord as our Personal Saviour and to learn of Him
and what He would have us to do. Praise His Holy Name!
We are instructed in the Bible to encourage one another and to pray for one another, we are to communicate with one another, to visit with one another and to have Fellowship with one another especially as we see that day, the Day of the Lord’s anger approaching.
We read in Job 36:11, If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
For the most part, the Children of the Lord, the Saints are Blessed when they lay down, when they rise up, when the go out and walk by the way and when they come, they are Abundantly Blessed. Praise the Name of the Lord!
