" Praise the Lord for that which He is about to do! "
~ The Word of God is that which was written of and/or
spoken by God ~
The Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 22:29 wrote, "O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD."
Mankind has a proclamation from a Prophet of God to listen to, pay attention to and observe “do” the Word of the Lord our Provider.
In St. Luke 11:28 we read where it states, in part, “Blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.”
If mankind wants to be Blessed in this life and have the Right to enter into the Heavenly Kingdom that is to come, they MUST actively participate in listening to and doing that which God, the Lord of Glory says they must do or not do.
In James 1:22-25 the Apostle James wrote, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. *For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: *For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. *But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."
We read in St. Matthew 15:3 where it asked, in part, “Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?”
There are those that think and/or believe it is OK to do whatever they want to do as long as they do so in the Name of the Lord.
However, this assumption and practice is far from the Truth ~
There are several instances throughout the Written Word of God, the Bible that proves adding to and/or taking away from what God says to do or not do is WRONG. We read about the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:4-9; we read about Nadab and Abihu offering Strange Fire in Leviticus 10:1-2; we read about where Moses disobeyed God when he smote the Rock instead of Speaking to the Rock in Numbers 20:7-12; and we read about what happened when King David numbered the Children of Israel in 2nd Samuel 24:1-16 just to mention a few instances of not listening to the Word of God.
The Prophet Zechariah in Zechariah 7:7 says in part, "Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets?"
God has always required that which He has spoken. He always says what He means, He means what He says and He does not change.
In St. Mark 7:7 the Apostle Mark wrote, "Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."
Some Ministers and other so called christians like to say that, that which the Lord said in what is called the Old Testament “Genesis through Malachi” is no longer valid for us to observe in this day and time. However, the Apostle Mark who walked and talked with Jesus firmly states that the Saints are not to follow or observe the traditions of man in place of the Commandments of God.
King David in Psalms 19:7-11, "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. *The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. *The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. *More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. *Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward."
At this point let me ask the following question: If something / anything is already PERFECT why would anyone need or want to replace it? If a thing is sure and / or right, it can be counted on thus, a Sure and/or a right thing should not need to be replaced.
The Fear of the Lord that King David is talking about is not a Trembling type of fear but is a Fear of Obedience and Respect. King David’s son, King Solomon said that the Fear of the Lord is to hate evil, Proverbs 8:13.
The Word of the Lord is more Precious than anything that mankind can imagine or physically possess. It brings forth the Greatest Benefit that anyone could imagine.
We read in St. Matthew 5:17-18, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. *For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
Here is a personal report that Jesus plainly said that He did not change anything in the Law of God but that He came to establish the Word of God or in other words, make it sure.
In Proverbs 6:20-23 King Solomon wrote, "My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: *Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. *When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. *For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:"
What King Solomon said here is a direct reference to the Written Word of God, His Commandments, Laws, Precepts and Statutes. These are the things that mankind needs in order to live a Righteous life and receive the Reward of Life.
The Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 8:20 wrote, "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."
What the Prophet Isaiah is saying here is that anyone that does not follow and teach the True Word of God as it is Written in the Bible are liars and the Truth is not in them.
We read Revelation 22:18-19, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: *And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."
It is perfectly plain to anyone that is willing to know the Truth that to detract from the Written Word of God and teach others to do the same is in direct violation to what God wants His Children to do.
Everyone that does so will receive the Mark of the Beast and will partake in the Wrath of God ~
If a person wants to be part of the Body of Christ, enter into the Gates of the Heavenly City and partake of the Tree of Life, they MUST observe and do God’s Holy Word.
