Wayne Wolf-My Testimony

I am 76 years old and still going; I thought when I retired I would put down the old work tools and take a rest, not so, I forgot to inform the Lord that I wanted to rest. Now I am working harder and faster than when I was 18 and love every minute of it.

I was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska some time ago; to my recollections it was April 2 1934. I was very fortunate that the Lord picked a Christian and loving Mother and Father, for me – Thank you so much Lord for this start in life!

I was taught by my Mother for the most part, but early in my life I was blessed by a teacher and preacher that challenged me all the way (Frank Walker) a true man of God, that pushed me to the end I am at now. I heard him say. oh so many times; "when you preach or just talk let it be always a testimony for teaching and preaching are just testimonies the Lord has blessed you with."

Let this be my testimony to the world and to you. If you meet me and forget me, you have lost nothing - BUT if you meet the Lord and forget him, all you have accomplished, all you have done will be for nothing. As I got older some how I got wiser. I found that my work had just started but I was thinking I should retire, not to be.

Now at this time the Lord give me one of the biggest educations I ever had. Now, as I confess this to you do not think of me as Job, but as Job as my example, I will try to clarify how the Lord work. Let us start with I had a good life with a good income a home and cars, for the most part I was very healthy, most of all I have a wife I loved and she became a Christian early on in our marriage. I was in the development of putting the final touches on my home; at this time was preparing to settle down with all this and enjoy the rest of my life.

The end is the Beginning of my testimony:

My wife of over 40 years can down with Alzheimer’s disease [medical disorder causing dementia: a degenerative disorder that affects the brain and causes dementia, especially late in life,] This left her unaware of all we had done to prepare for the Golden Years, I then after some time had to find help for her care. I think at this time the Lord was preparing me for the biggest journey of my life and what a trip it became. With in less that 4 years I went for a loving husband to a person without a home, all my money was gone, I lost my wife though the court system claiming I was unfit, then I lost all my possessions by theft, I lost my dignity, well, I was a mess.

The story does not stop there. The Lord now had my attention and with the end of my life in site, the Lord now could lead me to the new journey and life that lead me to the Philippines to assist the Lord in helping so many of those that were crying for any one to help them. There was no where I looked that I could not see the hunger and longing to know more about the Lord. Now this is a Blessing that no man or money can give all I worked for was not what the Lord wanted, he wanted me to become a servant like him. You would think this is the end of the story, NO! pick up your staff and follow the Lord he will take you where you have never been or to heights you have never seen. I am on my journey, my prayer for you is to pick the Lord as he picked you first before the beginning of time. You don’t have to have all the world has to start this journey, Just the Faith that God will give you.
