~ To render morally impure or unfit; defiled; filth; or to be
as polluted ~
The Apostle Paul in 1st Thessalonians 4:7 wrote, "God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto Holiness."
The Saints are called out and chosen by the Lord to be Vessels of Holiness unto Him. The reason for this is that He will not dwell or live in a place that is Unclean.
In Ezekiel 44:23, the Prophet Ezekiel wrote, "And they “My Priest” shall teach My people the difference between the Holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean."
The angel of the Lord told the Apostle John that He has made the Saints to be Kings and Priest unto God “YHWH,” Revelation 5:10 and that as such; we are to be Holy unto Him in ALL things that we might be able to minister to the Souls that are Lost / Unsaved and to one another.
The Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 52:11 wrote, "Be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord."
We, as Children of the Most High God are to be Holy because we are the Body of Christ and / or the Temple of the Lord ~
In Romans 6:19, the Apostle Paul wrote, "I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness."
We, like the Apostle Paul need to know how to effectively communicate True Holiness. In order to do this, we MUST put off the Works of the Flesh; the Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eyes and the Pride of Life which are Unclean before the Lord. And we are to put on Righteousness as a Cloak, we are to put on the New Man which is Renewed after the Knowledge of the Lord and have Put On the Mind of Christ.
The Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 7:8-12 wrote, "Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. *Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; *And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? *Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. *But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel."
We, as Children of the Most High God MUST put our trust in the Lord, knowing that He has our best interest in mind. We MUST not continue in sin, unrighteous living and in following after the Traditions of Mankind which are not acceptable to God “YHWH.”
We might be able to fool others into think that we are Righteous. But know assuredly that no abominable person will be just in the eyes of the Lord.
If a person will take the time to prayerfully read what is called the Old Testament, they will find out what God “YHWH” did to ALL who do not worship Him according to the Truth of His Holy Written Word.
The Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5:5 wrote, "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."
We might say that we do not worship idols, that we do not covet that which another person has or that we are not a whoremonger; but if we practice the observance of the Traditions of Mankind and are willingly ignorant of God’s Holy Word, we cannot expect inter into the Kingdom of God.
In Isaiah 35:8, the Prophet Isaiah wrote, "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein."
No one will accidently gain access to the Highway of Holiness. The Highway of Holiness is the Way in which only the Righteous Saints of God “YHWH” have a Right to trod. It is a Way that gives Rest to the weary, Strength to the weak and Hope to those that look for the coming of the Lord.
The Apostle Paul in Romans 14:14 wrote, "I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean."
Truly, there isn’t anything that is unclean of its self. Who are the Saints suppose to permit to tell them what is Unclean or not acceptable to do? Are they not to follow the Written Word of God “YHWH” and not the Traditions of Mankind? God “YHWH” is the One that determines what things that are to be Unclean.
Once He, “YHWH” determines a thing to be unclean other than mankind himself, it is forever Unclean. The reason for this is that God “YHWH” says what He means, He means what He says and He does not change His mind about it.
For this reason, we can have confidence that God is Just and that He will always be True to His Holy Written Word. Praise His Holy and Righteous Name!
In Isaiah 65:1-5, the Prophet Isaiah wrote, "I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name. *I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts; *A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick; *Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels; *Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day."
I have found that a person that admits that he is an out and out sinner is easier to be convinced of the Truth than a person that claims to be a Christian. My reasoning for this is that all too many people that claim to be a Christian are not Christ Like. In other words, they are not following the example of Jesus in that He said that did not do anything of Himself but only did that which His Father said. St. John 8:28, 12:49-50 & 14:10
We read in Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
The angel of the Lord told the Apostle John that Jesus and God “YHWH” considered the Unclean to be just as much a sinner and worthy of punishment as the murderers, and the whoremongers, and the sorcerers, and the idolaters, and all the liars are.
Therefore, let us, such as desire to be counted worthy of being acceptable unto the Lord, therefore endeavoring to live our life according to the Written Word of God, the Holy Bible so that we will ensure our selves of a place in the Kingdom of God and of Christ.
Let the Word of the Lord be Praised!
