Coos Bay House of Prayer 7th Day Church

Our sister Church is located in Coos Bay, Oregon. After our initial move to Coos Bay, in 1980, we found there were others meeting in their homes, on the Sabbath, having no church to attend of like faith. So, we got together and formed what is known today as the "House of Prayer 7th Day Church."
We started by renting an A-frame building that we felt resembled a pair of praying hands - then sent out flyers introducing ourselves to other Sabbath Churches and soon we began to hear from people who felt called to come "see" the work that the Lord had started in Coos Bay. We received so many calls that the only thing to do was arrange a fellowship meeting. And the people of God came.
During the next year those that came, along with our own group, experienced many wonderful revelations. Our group was encouraged to continue the work that was started. God was on the move.
The House of Prayer 7th Day is still thriving to this day. Their group has grown and although they have seen people come and go, they remain committed to God's plan for a body of believers for the Coos Bay/North Bend area.
