We shall mount up with wings as eagles.....

Isaiah 40:31

" Praise the Lord for that which He is about to do! "

Need

~ A necessity or obligation; a lack of something
required or wanted
~

We read in Revelation 3:14-19, "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; *I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. *So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. *Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: *I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. *As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

There times when a person is seemingly doing so well in their natural life they tend to think that they do not need anything.  However, if their life lacks the Spirit of the Living God and His Only Begotten Son Jesus in it, they are Blind, naked and poor and they are in danger of Eternal Judgment.

On the other hand, if a person recognizes that they are lost in sin and seek the
Lord with their whole heart, they will find the Fullness of Joy and Wonderful
Peace within

In St. Luke 12:29-31 we read, "And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. *For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. *But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you."

As a general rule, the needs of an infant child and all children are met by their parents.  In like manner, if the Saints of God “YHWH” will truly seek to know and serve the Lord and Worship Him with their whole heart, He will abundantly supply everything they will ever have need of.

We read in St. Luke 11:2-4, "And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. *Give us day by day our daily bread. *And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil."

In considering what is called the “Lord’s Prayer” one needs to realize the importance of the Words that Jesus Spoke especially, the first part of the prayer where He basically said, when a person is praying to God “YHWH” they are to identify who they are praying to, Glorify Him, Praise Him, Worship Him, Completely Surrender their life, come unto Him and then, make their request known to Him and expect Him to hear and answer their prayer.

In Hebrews 4:16 we read, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain Mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need."

Because of what Jesus did, the Saints have the Right to come into the Presence of the Almighty God “YHWH” and if they have been endeavoring to live their life in accordance to His Holy Written Word, the Bible, they can expect to receive a Merciful Answer to their prayer.

The Apostle John in 1st John 3:16-18 wrote, "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. *But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? *My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth."

If the Saints of God “YHWH” are not freely willing to help the other Members of the Body of Christ when they are in need, they cannot expect God “YHWH” to hear their prayer and supply their need.  Because the Scripture says, “Freely ye have received, freely give."  St. Matthew 10:8

The Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 12:18-25 wrote, "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. *And if they were all one member, where were the body? *But now are they many members, yet but one body. *And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. *Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: *And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. *For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: *That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another."

I think what the Spirit of the Lord is saying here is that “Every Part Supplieth” in other words, even that part which seems to be unimportant is important because it is part of the Body.

Have you ever yanked out a long hair that was protruding from your nose?  If you have, you may have noticed that it hurts a little and sometimes it leaves a soar place that lingers for a while.

It’s that way also in the Body of Christ, every individual is important and when one part of the Body hurts or has a need, the whole Body is ill affected.  In like manner, when one part of the Body feels joy, the whole Body Rejoices.

We read in Acts 4:33-35, "And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. *Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, *And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need."

When the Body is mindful of its members and makes provisions to take care of every part of the Body, then the Body is Complete, it lacks no-thing.

In Philippians 4:13-20, the Apostle Paul wrote, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. *Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. *Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. *For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. *Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. *But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. *But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. *Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

As a general rule, the Saints are only limited by how they limit themselves or by not living in accordance to the Written Word of God, the Bible.

On the other hand, if we will truly seek to know and serve Him in Spirit and in Truth, He will Abundantly Bless.
