Pastor Kahora
Sabbath Day Faith Ministries in Kenya, Africa
Greetings
We trust and pray you are doing good. Here in Kenya we are all doing well. Our village is named Maai_Mahiu and that is Kikuyu language for hot water. Being near Mt Longonot which is volcanic, there are hot water springs around - hence the name.
This is just a small location within Naivasha District. Our service meetings take place on Erev Shabbat. That is Friday evening. We gather to welcome the Sabbath.
Come Sabbath morning we meet at 9am when we open with prayer.
Then there is Worship, praising and lessons from the scriptures until 1pm -when we break. We get back at 2pm and continue studying words of life until 4.30pm or even until five. Then people disperse and by the time we get home, Sabbath is over.
We anoint the sick with olive oil and intercede on their behalf .
Generally when we meet, we study prophecy, so as to know where we are spiritually. We dedicate time to read what our Father in heaven wants of us. We cannot call ourselves a healing ministry, per say, but we do witness His mighty hand whenever we call on Him.
We do have a mid-week meeting where we congregate at members homes. On other days, if need be, with help others. For example, if there is a sick person or a lady that's just given birth, we will help work on their farm. Pastor Kahora
Note:
If you would like to contact Pastor Kahora, learn more about their ministry or offer support, of any kind, please email him at the address below. Since they have no electricity in their small village, they must travel to another location to use a computer to receive/send their emails. So, once you have contacted them, it may take a few days for them to respond.
Every person can make a huge difference in the lives of those who have a ministry, here in the states as well as those abroad. By holding them up in prayer, God can make the difference! Pray for Pastor Kahora and his congregation as they forge ahead to spread the Word of God.
