I would like to pose a question. Do you think that The Heavenly Father or His Precious Son Jesus is a respecter of persons? I think your answer to this question would be, “no.” Therefore, let me continue and see what the Word of God has to say about this subject.
The Apostle Paul in Romans 2:11 said, "For there is no respect of persons with God."
In Acts 10:34 we read, "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:"
These two witnesses confirm that the Father and the Son are not a respecter of persons ~
In Acts 2:29-35 the Writer in the book of Acts said, "Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. *Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; *He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. *This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. *Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. *For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool."
When the Scripture talks about Jesus not being left in hell, it was not talking about Hell as in a place of punishment but of hell like in the grave. When I was young my dad told me how they preserved potatoes to last through most of the Fall, Winter and Spring. He said that they would hell the potatoes. This meant that they would cover up the potatoes with earth.
Note: God said that David was a man after His own heart and yet the Scriptures state that David is not ascended into the heavens and this was said after Jesus ascended back up into heaven.
In Hebrews 11:1-13 the Writer of Hebrews mentioned many Patriarchs such as, 'Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob' and said, "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”
I really like this scripture here in Hebrews 11:39-40 where the Writer says, "And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: *God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect."
The Saints that have passed since Able on down to today have not and will not see Jesus until ALL things are fulfilled. And that won’t be until Jesus returns in the clouds of Glory.
Hallelujah, for the wonderful love that our Heavenly Father has for His children, that which He has for one, He has for all and that without prejudice.
The Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 15:23 wrote, "But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."
Did you realize what the above Scripture has said? The Saints are those that are His and the above Scripture says that none of the Saints will enter into His Heavenly Kingdom until Jesus comes again to receive ALL the righteous into His Heavenly Kingdom.
In St. John 3:13 Jesus, Himself said, "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."
I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be accused of calling Jesus a liar.
Note: If I were inclined to believe that the Thief on the Cross truly repented to Jesus that day on Calvary, I would be more inclined to think that Jesus would be saying to the Thief, "I accept your confession, I forgive you and when I come again in the clouds of glory to receive My own, you will be included as one of them."
Note: The Word of God calls things that are not as though they already are ~
The Apostle Paul in Romans 4:17 said, "As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations, before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were."
In 1st John 3:2 we read, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
Isn’t it wonderful that God is willing to call us who Believe in Jesus His children.
The Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 15:52 said: In conclusion let me add one Scripture that says it all. “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
