Jesus-Who is He & When did He begin to be?

Bible Study Subject

Let’s start off with Genesis 1: 26 where It Is Written, "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

In this Scripture, who do you suppose God was talking with
when He said “let us make man in our image?”

We read in Hebrews 1:1-4, "God, who at various times and in
various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, *has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;"

The phrase, “through whom” is indicative to “by whom” which
is His “Only Begotten Son Jesus” Word which is also confirmed by the Apostle John in St. John 1:1-4,  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. *The same was in the beginning with God."

It would appear from this Scripture that Jesus, the Word was
“existed” with God “YHWH” from the beginning of creation ~

Continuing on with the first chapter of St. John with Verse 3, "All things were made by him; “by whom were all things made? t
hey were made by Jesus the Word.” and without him was not any thing made that was made. *In him “Jesus” was life; and the life was the light of men."

The Apostle John goes on in verse 14 of chapter one
to say, “And the Word “Jesus” became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

Jesus is the Word of God “YHWH” that was made flesh and
dwelt among men.  He is the way; He is the Truth; He is the Life; He is the Light that giveth light to every man / Soul;

Let’s continue on with the first chapter of Hebrews in verse 3,
"who “Jesus” being the brightness of His “YHWH” glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, *having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."

Jesus, the Only Begotten Son of God “YHWH” is the only one
not any angel and not any man,” that has ever been said to be the Express Image of God.

In Colossians 1:1-3, we read, "Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ
by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother, *To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. *We give thanks to God “YHWH” and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you."

Furthermore, we read in Colossians 1:12-18, "Giving thanks
unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the Saints in Light: *Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: *In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  *Who “Jesus” is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: ***For by him “Jesus” were ALL things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him “Jesus,” and for him: *And he “Jesus” is before all things, and by him all things consist. *And he is the head of the body, the church: who “Jesus” is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."

We read in 1st John 1:1-2, "That which was from the beginning,
which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; ** (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)"

The Salvation of mankind was with God “YHWH” in the
Beginning before the word came into existence ~

In the 1st chapter of the Book of Revelation the angel of the
Lord related to John these words of Jesus in verse 8, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending," also in verse 11, Saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;"

I find it very difficult to argue with the Written Words of Jesus
where He, according to the Apostle John, declares who He is, what He has done and what He is going to do.

In the Book of Hebrews 11:6 we read, "Without faith “Jesus / the
Word of the Lord” it is impossible to please Him “YHWH,” for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

From what I have been able to ascertain, the Word of God /
Jesus, is the Faith; without Jesus it is impossible to please God “YHWH.”

We read in Revelation 22:6-9, '"And he “the angel of the Lord”
said unto me “the Apostle John,” These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel “the angel of the Lord Jesus” to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. *Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. *And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the
feet of the angel which showed me these things. *Then saith
he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God."

The Apostle John was not talking directly to Jesus but he was
talking with His angel.  The Saints of God “YHWH” are to worship Jesus and Him alone because of who He is and because of what He has done and because of what He is about to do.

Praise His Holy and Righteous Name for evermore!

The Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 10:1-4 wrote, "Moreover,
brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, *all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, *all ate the same spiritual food, **and all drank the same spiritual drink."

For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and
that Rock
was Christ
~

It would appear from the writings of the Apostle Paul that
Jesus existed when the Children of Israel were traveling though the wilderness for forty years.  He was and still is the Lord, the provider of all things that His Children need.

Praise
His Holy Name!

Now, let’s take a look at what the Prophet Isaiah has to say
about Jesus:

We read in Isaiah 43:1 & 21, "Thus says the Lord, who created
you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. *This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise."

The Prophet Isaiah declares that Jesus, the Word of God
“YHWH” has created mankind.

In Isaiah 43:10-15 we read, “You are My witnesses,” says the
Lord, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. *I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior."  Verse 12 in part declares, "Therefore you are My witnesses,”  Says the Lord, “that I am God."

Continuing on with verse 13, "Indeed before the day was, I am
He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” *Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “For your sake I will send to
Babylon, And bring them all down as fugitives. The Chaldeans,
who rejoice in their ships. ***I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.”

At this point, I would like to go back to the first chapter of the
Book of Hebrews to take a closer look at what has been written there; we have already talked about the first four verses a little so, let’s take a little closer look at some of the other verses.

In Hebrews 1:5-10 we read, "For to which of the angels did He
“YHWH” ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? *And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”? *But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.” *And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.”

Here, we find that God “YHWH” sets a distinct difference
between His Only Begotten Son Jesus and His Holy angels and we also find that God “YHWH” has a little more to say about His Only Begotten Son Jesus starting with verse eight;
**But to the Son “Jesus” He “YHWH” says: “Your throne, O
God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.  *You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;  Therefore God “YHWH,” Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” *And: “You, Lord “Jesus,” in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And
the heavens are the work of Your hands."

In these verses we see a confirmation of the words spoken by /
written by the Apostle John in St. John 1:1-3, where Jesus the Only Begotten Son of God “YHWH” Created the Heavens and the Earth and ALL things that are therein.

We read these Words of Jesus in St. John 8:12-18, "Then Jesus
spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” *The Pharisees therefore said to Him, “You bear witness of Yourself; Your witness is not true.”  **Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and
where I am going. *You judge according to the flesh; I judge no
one. **And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. *It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. *I am One
who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.”

Jesus is that Light that separates the darkness from the
children of obedience ~

The Prophet Isaiah proclaimed that Jesus is the Light that giveth Light unto the Children of God “YHWH" - Isaiah 2:5

In Isaiah 43:10-13 we read where It Is Written, “You are My witnesses,” says the Lord (Jesus), “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. **I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior. *I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the Lord, “that I am God. **Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?”

I think that we can all agree that God “YHWH” was not created
or formed but that He is and always was and will always be ~

But Jesus on the other hand, according to the angel of the
Lord that spoke to the Apostle John on the Isle of Patmos is, the Beginning of the Creation of God “YHWH,” Revelation 3:14, and He is the Saviour of every Soul that will accept Him into their heart.

Furthermore, the Prophet Isaiah declares that Jesus existed
before the day was.

Who is Jesus? He is and He is and always will be the Only
Begotten of the Father “YHWH;” He is our Saviour and soon coming King.

Praise His Holy and Righteous Name!
