Flat Tire
~This story reminds us of the old saying~"What are friends for?"
"Hi Jo, I just got myself a new car. what do you think of it? I plan on it taking me to paradise. The motor runs like a dream, the lights are wonderful. All my friends are happy for me and I feel great."
"It is beautiful Tom. Do you plan on it taking you through to the end of your journey?"
"Sure why not? It will make it like a dream. Why do you ask?"
"Better, get that flat tire taken care of, and I noticed that you're using a heavy grade of oil. You'd better use the grade the manufacture says to use. You'll mess your warranty up if you don't follow the recommendations in the book."
"Jo, you are always a critic, sometimes I wonder why I think of you as a friend."
"It could be because I never try to deceive you and I'm there for you when you need a hand, Tom. Check your book on how to take care of your motor, and repair that tire, or it won't get you where you plan to go."
Jo was talking to a new convert - what do you think he was saying?
God tells us what we should and shouldn't put into your bodies to keep it healthy. There is only one motor for your type of body and when it goes out, you are ready for the grave.
So, to get the best performance, and long lasting service out of it, take the best possible care of what has been given to you by following the instructions found in your Bible.
