We shall mount up with wings as eagles.....

" Praise the Lord for that which He is about to do! "

Fellowship
~ Fellowship expresses shared participation in Christ and the Bond that Christ Creates between Believers ~

~ The Greek Word for Fellowship is "Koinonia" which literally means sharing, partnership and contribution ~

The Apostle Paul in Philippians 1:3-6 wrote, "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, *Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, *For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; *Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

In general, it is not good for a person not to interact with others because we, are our own worst enemy.  Therefore, when we see the Saints contributing and sharing with other Believers in Jesus, it brings not only God “YHWH” joy, but it should evoke joy from within us.

Fellowship is essential for our well-being.  Fellowship is looking for and to the well-being of others rather than ourselves.  This is well pleasing to God ~

One scripture says it like this, "Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: **Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."  Hebrews 10:24-25

In 1st John 1:3-7 the Apostle John wrote, "That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. *And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. *This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. *If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: *But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

We should take our example for Fellowship from the Disciples and other Biblical writers.  Their main concern was for the needs both Spiritually and physically for the Body of Christ, the Church the Saints.

The Apostle John has given us a scale on which we are able to way or determine whether or not our fellowship is true.  That way is the Bible, the Written Word of God “YHWH.”

Truth is Light and it does not even have a shadow in turning.  James 1:17

Therefore there is only one true way to measure whether or not we are walking in the Faith, the Light of Jesus and in the mannerism of His disciples, it is to look into the Written Word of God “YHWH” the Bible and mirror what it says.

The Bible does not leave any room for guessing as to what Truth is, for His Word is yea and amen, James 5:12 & 2nd Corinthians 1:17-20

We read in Acts 2:42, "And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles’ Doctrine and Fellowship, and in Breaking of Bread and Prayers."

Breaking of Bread is not only sharing ones physical food but it sharing the Written Word of God to one another.  All Doctrine should be supported by two or three witnesses or Bible Writers.  2 Corinthians 13:1

The Apostle Paul wrote most of what is called the New Testament from Romans to Hebrews; some believe that he also wrote Hebrews as well.

Therefore, everything that is written in Romans, 1st & 2nd Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1st  &  2nd Thessalonians, 1st &

2nd Timothy, Titus, Philemon &  possibly Hebrews, is only the witness of one man.  Dare we only stand behind the writings of one man?  My answer to this question is a resounding, “No!”

Even Jesus said as much in St. John 8:17-18, "It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. *I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me." (also found in St. Matthew 18:16)

The Apostle Paul in Philippians 2:1-2 wrote, "If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, *Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind."

If a person expects or wants to have Fellowship with the Lord then, they must show forth the same desire towards one another.  We need to pray for the Mind of Christ.  1st Corinthians 2:16

We also need to earnestly seek the Best Gifts of the Holy Ghost, 1st Corinthians 12:31 and then, build up our Most Holy Faith praying in the Holy Ghost.

Jude 1:20

In Philemon 1:4-6, the Apostle Paul wrote, "I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, *Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; *That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus."

The Saints need to practice praying for one another.  One Scripture says, “God forbid that I should sin in not praying for you.  1st Samuel 12:23

In 2nd Corinthians 8:1-5 we read, "Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; *How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality. *For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves; *Praying us with much entreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. *And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God."

Have we given our all unto the Lord for the Ministry of the Saints?  Are we willing to give our all?  If not, we need to pray and ask the Heavenly Father to give us a willing heart, to Create in us a Clean Heart and a Right Mind and to Renew a Right Spirit within us.  Amen?  Amen!

The Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:7-12 wrote, "Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. *Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;  *And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: *To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, *According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: *In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him."

We are all of us, ministers of one kind or another, whether unto Life or unto death. - 2nd Corinthians 2:15-17 - Everyone that names the Name of the Lord is to be a Minister of Righteousness.

We read in 2nd Corinthians 13:14, "The Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Love of God, and the Communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all. Amen!"

Let’s remember to bless one another and to pray for one another and to have Fellowship with one another, that we might be able to strengthen one another to the Glory of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, our soon coming King.  Praise His Holy and Righteous Name!
