Question
: When did Jesus arise from the grave, How do you explain your answer and what are some of the Scriptures that support your answer?  ~

The answer is simple; Jesus arose on the 7th Day of the week commonly known as Saturday ~

The Truth comes from Bible prophesies that state the Sacrifice would cease in the midst of the week, Daniel 9:27, which is the fourth day of the week, Wednesday. Jesus said, “as Jonas was 3 days and 3 nights in belly of the wheal, so would the Son of Man (Jesus) be 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the Earth.” St. Matthew 12:40 & St. Luke 11:30

Therefore, if Jesus became our Sacrifice for sin and He was crucified, died and was buried before the sun went down, He would then have to rise from the grave late the 7th Day of the week which is Saturday.

In
Daniel 9:27 it is written, “He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Also, please note: Three (3) of the Gospel Writers state that the angle told the ones that came to tomb to see Jesus that, “He is not here, He is risen” which, is in the past tense.   Meaning that some time before they got there, Jesus arose and left.

If you and I were personal friends and you came to my house to see me and knocked on my door, my wife answered the door and when you asked to see me she said, “he is not here, he went to town.”  Her statement to you does not imply when I left but that I am not currently there.  I could have just left a moment or so before you knocked on the door or I could have left the day before.

Here is some possible Scripture support of when Jesus rose from the grave.

In St. Matthew 12:40 Jesus said, “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the earth.”

St. Mark 10:34 & St. Luke 18:33 state that, “They shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.”

The Apostle Paul in 1st Corinthians 15:3-4 wrote, "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; *And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."

In St. Matthew 28:1-7 we read,  "In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.  *And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
*His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: *And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. *And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. *He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. *And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you."

Note: If you are at the end of a day, it would imply that the day is not over yet ~

The Apostle Mark wrote in St. Mark 16:1-6, "And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. *And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.  *And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?  *And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. *And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. *And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him."

Note: the phrase, “had bought” does not mean that they just purchased the items but that sometime prior to that moment, they purchased the items.

In St. Luke 24:1-6 Luke wrote, "Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. *And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. *And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. *And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: *And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? *He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee."

The Written Word of God should be sufficient to speak for itself.
