Over the last 30 years, they have been Pastors and co/Pastors, Song leaders, Youth Counselors, Class leaders and have ministered in nursing homes, jails, hospitals, and churches across the United States.  They have been asked to sing at weddings, funerals, Church Conference meetings, Revival meetings and at Youth Camp.  They have performed weddings (together), officiated at funerals and held Baptismal services (in some very cold rivers).

Currently they are involved with several local Sabbath churches as well as continuing their evangelistic work.  Every year they attend Sabbath Fellowship meetings held in Arkansas, Tennessee and Indiana. 

Now, they are being drawn into a higher calling of service. One of their goals is to know, more fully, the needs of God's people.

So, in 2006, Derwood started a local Bible ministry, giving Bibles to everyone that he met - that desired one. He was so tremendously blessed to see the expressions of joy on the faces of those receiving Bibles, some for the first time. This local ministry, along with providing study materials and study tools, will continue for those who want to study harder and reach deeper  into  God's Word. 

They have been married for 35 years, and have 4 beautiful grand-daughters.  They live in a small rural town, outside of Little Rock, Arkansas.
